A beloved 88 year-old World War Two Veteran is robbed and beaten to death by two black teenagers in a Spokane, Washington parking lot. In Duncan, Oklahoma a white jogger is randomly shot by a black teenager (with two accomplices) who had previously tweeted his hatred and eager intentions to kill white people. His own words happily tweeted “put my hands on every white person I can find until they drop.” “With my Niggas it’s time to start taking lives. Knocked out five woods (whites) since Zimmerman court.” In Cobb County, Georgia Joshua Chellew was beaten senseless by four black men who left him lying lifeless on a highway. In Kansas City a young white kid was set on fire by two black teenagers while they taunted him, “This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve white boy.” In Washington, D.C. on U St. a 20 year-old white man from Bethesda was beaten severely by three black youths who, after they had already robbed him of his I-phone, continued kicking him in the head repeatedly while shouting “This for Treyvon, This for Treyvon.” A Homeland Security contractor who has publicly recorded himself and called proudly on the internet for the “ethnic cleansing genocide of all white people” is continually awarded more government contracts. (He has recently been let go but only after several years) In NYC the "game" of knockout consists of groups of young black men picking random people to assault and knock out. Victims seem to always white or Asian but somehow the media has laryngitis on these hate crimes. Deciding to knock someone out for no other reason other than the color of their skin is the very definition of a hate crime itself.
I was recently honored to work an event honoring the 50th anniversary of Dr. King’s Civil Rights March on Washington and it caused me to do some serious soul searching and somber reflection on the state of our eroding race relations in America today. George Orwell once observed that “the first duty of a responsible man is that he must first re-state the obvious.” Sadly, these are just a few examples of ever- increasing anti-white hate crimes which most in the media and our politicians are either too politically correct or too obsequious to even acknowledge. I know it might seem daring or unthinkable to mention publicly what so many believe privately. Yet if all we do is continue cowardly cowering to political correctness and “cover our butts” by preserving the status quo of cultural erosion and worsening our race relations, then what kind of future could Americans look forward to or even attempt to believe in? If we don’t take care of this problem, it will eventually take care of us.
I campaigned for President Obama and froze my metal hip in three feet of snow in January in New Hampshire when he was 20 points behind. I honestly thought he would unify us, improve our race relations and attempt to heal our racial divisions. Forget about Rev. Wright (20 year Minister) and Bill Ayers (hosted his first fundraiser), Frank Davis (Communist mentor) and Saul Alinsky (Rules for Radicals). I thought to myself, “all that is in the past and we need a fresh, new modern LEADER.” Having interacted with him on a frequent basis in the Senate I was first impressed with his respectful demeanor and I thought this man is exactly what we need: a down- to- earth charismatic Democrat who is very likable and electable and will lead us. Thus I shook off any misgivings and joined Team Obama in NH. I still looked the other way during the campaign when in San Francisco he referred to white people in the country as “those people who cling to their guns and their God.”
I was first alarmed at the response of his appointed Attorney General Eric Holder. When asked why DOJ did nothing to prosecute Black Panthers who had racially intimidated white people and prevented them from voting at South Philadelphia polling stations, he replied, “Compared to what happened to my people historically, this pales by comparison.” Historically true enough, but our Attorney General was asked a question about representing ALL of the American people and his response did not even pretend to acknowledge that OBLIGATION!
Obama immediately threw the police under the bus by saying, “The Cambridge Police had acted stupidly” when it turned out his friend was the one who was in the wrong. Then Obama invited a “cop killing advocate rapper” named “Common” to the White House during National Police Week. He couldn’t find five minutes to honor law enforcement at the National Police Memorial; but he found a whole evening in his schedule to host a special White House dinner, honoring a “pro cop killing rapper”. Then he appointed Van Jones, a radical Marxist (currently featured on CNN's Crossfire) who had previously started his own Maoist group (STORM) and had been arrested during the LA Riots for victimizing anyone who was not black.
Then President Obama appointed a Supreme Court Justice who voted against white firefighters who were repeatedly denied promotions for eight years simply because they were white. Not only did Justice Sonya Sotomayor vote to uphold the Ricci decision, but she also famously said she would hope a Latina Woman would reach a correct judicial conclusion more often than a white man. He said nothing when his wife publicly stated that critics of Obamacare were motivated by racism. As someone who believed in Obamacare and has close friends who can actually run a business, it hardly turns one into “David Duke” if one has legitimate concerns about hiring more employees and complying with the IRS. Obama also publicly suggested that criticism of Susan Rice was motivated by racism even though he sent her out to “spin a story” which was very different from what he was being told. Cynically exacerbating our racial schism is not the change which I believed in.
Then came the tragic Treyvon Martin situation and I thought maybe he will finally be a leader to help calm and unite us. Sadly, nothing could be further from what his divisive and irresponsible conduct could conclude. When the police chief in Sanford, Fl. and local prosecutors refused to arrest and charge Zimmerman, he ordered Attorney General Eric Holder to work with “Jesse and Al” to stir up a racial frenzy on the ground in Florida. Most of the media only too happily obliged by showing Zimmerman pictured in a orange prison jump suit. The media referred to Zimmerman as white (even though he is Hispanic) and frequently portrayed him as if he were “the prison leader of Aryan Nations.” Also it was never mentioned prior to the trial by the media or President Obama that Zimmerman spent a great deal of his time as a mentor and tutor to young black teenagers to try to help them stay on the right path. Meanwhile none of Treyvon’s prior transgressions or “gun toting gangsta pics” were noted; instead we only saw the innocent picture of him in his football uniform when he was 12 years old. Instead of attempting to unify us during the trial, Obama injected race into it by saying, “If I Had A Son He Would Look Like Trayvon” while simultaneously applying DOJ pressure to force State of Florida to prosecute Zimmerman after local police and prosecutors resigned and refused. As a result of this political pressure, the State of Florida appointed a special prosecutor who completely ignored the entire grand jury indictment process. When was the last time you heard of a jury of six instead of twelve and no grand jury indictment?
After Zimmerman’s acquittal, which most legal experts and even Alan Dershowitz admitted was all but a foregone conclusion, President Obama sounded surprised and declared that “HE WAS TREYVON” and that basically Zimmerman was only acquitted because of an all-white racist jury. At a time when all Americans needed, and the situation demanded, respectful reassurance of our common purpose and shared destiny, President Obama fanned the flames of our racial divisions even worse! Now we have violent anti-white hate crimes (many specifically mentioning Trayvon as a racial “Remember The Alamo” rallying cry) popping up all over the place. Meanwhile, Obama, Holder, “Jesse and Al” all have laryngitis. Sadly, I guess we should expect that from all of them; but as to our friends in the media…let’s see how long the "laryngitis" lasts. If Dr. King were here, I bet he would not have “laryngitis.” If Obama had a grandfather, he would have looked a lot like the white WW2 veteran who was beaten to death in Spokane.
